| Nominations close 6th October
The Scottish Rowing Awards are presented annually to recognise Excellence or Endeavour in the sport.
Nominations are welcome from individuals or clubs - you can nominate any athlete, coach or volunteer who you feel merits recognition for their efforts or achievement in the past year. Awards will be presented to the
- Scottish Oarsman of the Year
- Scottish Oarswoman of the Year
- Scottish Junior Oarsman of the Year
- Scottish Junior Oarswoman of the Year
- Scottish Rowing Coach of the Year
- Scottish Rowing Volunteer of the Year
- Scottish Rowing Crew of the Year
A special lifetime achievement award, the Fellowship of the Scottish Amateur Rowing Association, may also be presented at the discretion of the Executive of the SARA.

Please read the rules before you make your nominations. You can then make your nominations using the nomination form which may be emailed or sent to Jo Ramsay. When writing your nomination, remember your Citation is intended to persuade the Judging Panel (SARA Executive) that your nominee is the one they should vote for!

Even if your nominee doesn't win, the short-listed nominees are celebrated at the Scottish Rowing Awards Dinner where the awards are presented, so your nominee can still be recognised
and appreciated.
The 2006 Scottish Rowing Awards Dinner will be held in Aberdeen on Saturday 4th November. Further details for the dinner here.
