Eligibility
All rowers seeking any form of support through Scottish Rowing (e.g. athlete support programmes / attendance at camps / Institute support) must hold a valid membership through Scottish Rowing (or in exceptional circumstances British Rowing).
They must also agree to adhere to the Scottish Rowing Code of Conduct and Anti-Doping policies.
In addition, there are specific eligibility criteria as follows
Eligibility for Scottish Rowing Performance Programme:
- Hold a British passport; and
- Be able to classify as Scottish on UK Sport World Class Programmes
Additionally, they must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:
- Be born in Scotland
- Have one or more parents born in Scotland
- Have been resident in Scotland for a minimum of five years
Eligibility for Winning Students scholarships:
- Hold a British passport; and
- Be studying or set to study at a college or university in the Winning Students network
- Be aged 16 to 28 (able-bodied athletes) or aged 16 to 35 (para athletes)
