Scottish Rowing supports and promotes links between clubs and schools. Clubs interested in building links with schools should also consult the document "Working with Schools". To assist clubs who want to develop or expand such links, Scottish Rowing, supported by sportscotland, is pleased to be able to offer small grants. Details of how to apply for these grants are set out in the document “Scottish Rowing Development Grants” (see right).
Scottish Rowing also has a small number of Concept2 rowing ergometers available on short term loan for school development projects. A number of suitable boats in the Scottish Rowing fleet have been designated as development boats and are available to hire by Scottish Rowing affiliated clubs at a preferential development rate including:
3 xTub 2x/2- Swift 4x+/5x Janousek 8x.
Email the Scottish Rowing Office or call 01698 250206 for more information.
Small grants are also available for Scottish Rowing clubs to support the development of adaptive rowing (see Club Development Grant documents to the right). For more information, contact Mark Senter on 01698 250206 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
