On 1January 2021, a new version of the World Anti-Doping Code will be launched.  The code is an essential document which harmonises anti-doping policies, rules and regulations around the world and impacts all athletes, coaches and sports organisations, including Scottish Rowing.

UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) is responsible for ensuring sports bodies in the UK are compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code through the implementation and management of the UK’s National Anti-Doping Policy.  Scottish Rowing adopts the UK Anti-Doping Rules published by UK Anti-Doping (or its successor), as the rules of Scottish Rowing.

The current UK Anti-Doping rules, last updated in 2019, remain in force until the end of 2020.  The new UK Anti-Doping rules, which come into effect on 1 January 2021 can be found here.  These changes were formally adopted by the Board of Scottish Rowing on 25 November 2020.
