Further to the First Minister’s announcement today, we are reviewing our guidance in the light of the new, increased restrictions announced and will publish revised detailed guidance for rowing as soon as possible.
The primary message is "stay at home" as much as possible. By law, from 5 January, in a level 4 area, you can only leave your home (or garden) for an essential purpose. The essential purposes are further defined and explained on the Scottish Government website. Please note the following key points from the Scottish Government website.
"A maximum of 2 people from 2 separate households can meet outdoors for sport or exercise. Children under the age of 12 from these households do not count towards this number
The members of an individual household or extended household can meet outdoors for sport or exercise."
Indoor sports facilities are closed.
The general restrictions for sport and physical published by the Scottish Government can be found here.
