Performance is one of four strategic priorities for Scottish Rowing as outlined in the Strategic Plan 2017-21. sportscotland invests in Scottish Rowing’s vision for performance which is “Scottish athletes, developed in Scotland, competing for Great Britain at the Olympics and Paralympics”.
The mission which underpins this vision is to “build and develop a performance pathway in Scotland capable of transitioning rowers directly onto the GB Rowing Team Senior Programme”.
Scottish rowers have delivered ‘best ever’ performances at both London 2012 and Rio 2016 and looking ahead to Tokyo 2020 and beyond, Scottish Rowing has an ambitious performance strategy to ensure that Scottish rowers continue to perform with distinction on the world stage.
The Scottish Rowing Head of Performance Pathway, Lee Boucher, has produced a Performance Programme Circular for coaches, athletes and parents for the 2017/18 season. If you would like a copy of the circular please contact him via firstname.lastname@example.org
