Based at Strathclyde Country Park, Scottish Rowing is the governing body for rowing in Scotland.

We serve a network of 28 affiliated clubs with an estimated total membership of around 2,500.  We work with our clubs and other partners to grow the sport and provide new opportunities for people to try rowing.  We also provide training and development opportunities for the coaches and volunteers who deliver the sport in clubs and programmes.

We are responsible for providing events and competitions through the management of the competition calendar and the training and support of the umpires and officials who ensure fair racing.  We also hold a number of Scottish Rowing events including the Spring Regatta, the Indoor Championships and most importantly the Scottish Rowing Championships.

We support young performance athletes on the GB pathway through a number of partnerships including sportscotland and the sportscotland institute of sport and our university performance partners.

Scottish Rowing represents rowing’s interests with British Rowing, sportscotland, government and various non-governmental organisations.
