Strathclyde Country Park is home to one of only two world championships standard courses in the UK.

The eight lane course lies on a stretch of water regarded as one of the fairest courses on the planet.

Course

All courses can be affected by wind but experience has shown that even with cross winds there is no significant difference between the lanes on Strathclyde Loch.

In recent years, the course at Strathclyde Park has been host to the Commonwealth Games, the World Championships, the World Under 23 Championships and the Commonwealth Rowing Championships.  Most recently in August 2018, Strathclyde Park proudly hosted the European Rowing Championships.
