The Scotland Rowing Team selection policy for the 2022 Commonwealth Rowing Association Beach Sprints Championship is now available on the Rowing for Scotland page.

The 2022 Commonwealth Beach Sprints Championship will be hosted by Namibia in Walvis Bay from 2-4 December.

The Commonwealth Rowing Association (CRA) has traditionally organised a Championships every four years to ensure that rowing remains visible whilst it sits outside of the official Commonwealth Games programme.  In 2018, the CRA organised the inaugural Commonwealth Beach Sprints Championship in Poole, England, where Scotland topped the medal table winning medals in all six events.

More recently the Scotland Rowing Team won the first-ever Home International Rowing Beach Sprints at East Sands, St Andrews, and will be hoping to build on these performances as we identify a team to travel to Namibia.
