Following Scottish Rowing’s successful Junior Summer Regatta on 5th June – we are excited to announce more competition opportunities for your rowing calendar!
The Scottish Rowing Lochdown Regatta will be held over the weekend of 24th / 25th July at Strathclyde Country Park. This event will offer as many racing opportunities for as many competitors as possible within COVID-19 guidelines. We will provide further information including entry information, the proposed race format and more soon! Keep an eye on our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
A number of other club events are also appearing in the calendar to support the return to competition over the summer months. See below for a full list of the events currently planned between now and September.
As always, the ability to run events is subject to whatever Covid-19 restrictions are in place at the time and the calendar may be subject to change.
Scottish Rowing will also be hosting a 2021/22 season opener – the Scottish Rowing Autumn Challenge at Strathclyde Country Park on the 25th / 26th September. This new model of event will provide time trials followed by 500m side by side racing over the course of the weekend. We hope to see you all there! #NewSeasonNewRegatta #FreshStart.
