Scottish Rowing is excited to announce two job vacancies within the team. We are now recruiting for a full time Club Development Manager and a Competition and Events Manager (Maternity Cover).
Club Development Manager
The Club Development manager will play a leading role in delivering Scottish Rowing’s 2026 and Beyond Strategy by strengthening and supporting clubs, coaches and volunteers across Scotland.
They will drive initiatives aligned to our strategic pillars of Extending Our Reach and Member Engagement, ensuring that rowing in Scotland is safe, inclusive, sustainable and accessible to all.
Working collaboratively with clubs, partners and colleagues, the postholder will enhance workforce development, support good governance, embed safeguarding and wellbeing standards, and help create the conditions for rowing in Scotland to thrive.
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (subject to continued external funding)
Location: Hybrid working (office location – Strathclyde Park, Motherwell)
Salary: £30,000 (subject to experience) + excellent benefits package

Competition and Events Manager (Maternity Cover)
The Competition and Events Manager will be responsible to the Head of Development and Coaching and will oversee the delivery of the Scottish Rowing Championships, Scottish Rowing Spring Regatta, Scottish Rowing Beach and Offshore Championships, Scottish Rowing Schools Indoor League and Championships, and the 2026 Home International Rowing Beach Sprints, being hosted in Scotland.
We are looking for a dynamic team member who can identify growth opportunities, develop innovative delivery approaches, and inspire volunteers and partners across the rowing community.
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary, Maternity Cover – until 27th November 2026
Salary: £30,000 pro-rata (subject to experience) + excellent benefits package
