Strathclyde Park Loch Closure

Posted: January 12, 2016

Unfortunately due to required maintenance works North Lanarkshire Council will be closing Strathclyde Park Loch to all users in early February, these dates are not fixed and may be subject to change due to weather conditions. The works are expected to take approximately 4 weeks to complete. Any questions or concerns about this closure should be directed to North Lanarkshire Council.

HIR 2016 Registration Open

Registration is now open for Seniors, Juniors and Coaches who want to represent Scotland at this years Home International Regatta in Cardiff Bay on the 23rd of July.

To be eligible for selection you must have completed the online registration form by Friday the 22nd of January. More details are available on the Rowing for Scotland page.

SCOTTISH ROWING IS LOOKING FOR THE FUTURE STARS OF PARALYMPIC ROWING AND IT COULD BE YOU!

Scottish Rowing is running a Para Rowing Talent ID Day on the 31st January 2016 and we are looking for athletes to come and take part.

Scottish Schools Indoor Rowing Championships Results

The Scottish Schools Indoor Rowing Championships was held on Friday the 20th of November at Bellahouston Sports Centre, Glasgow. Over 520 students from schools all over Scotland took part. A report about the event will be released soon.

Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships Final Timetable

The Final timetable for the Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships is now available.

Final Timetable

All competitors under the age of 18 must provide the a SR Photographic Consent form, which can be emailed to us or brought to the event on the day.

Please check these documents carefully and contact us ASAP if there are any issues. Juniors and minors are to bring the signed parental consent form on the day or email a copy to entries@scottish-rowing.org.uk before the day.

Scottish Rowing Awards 2015

The Scottish Rowing Awards dinner was held on Saturday November 7, 2015 at the Hilton Grosvenor Hotel in Glasgow.  Awards were up for grabs in eight categories, all of which had exceptionally strong shortlists this year.

If there are any questions or problems with the entry please send a an email to - ircfours2015@gmail.com by 10pm tonight (Tuesday).

The final running order and information for competitors should then be available at http://www.ircevents.org.uk by Wednesday morning.
