The Scottish Rowing Awards aims to celebrate our rowing community at all levels from volunteers to performance athletes. This year’s awards will highlight the accomplishments achieved during the 2022-23 rowing season. Nominations are done anonymously, and we encourage everyone to nominate those who they think deserve some recognition for their hard work and dedication to our beloved sport. We have a total on nine categories this year covering all sections of our community.
Nominations will open on Friday the 8th of September 2023 and close at midnight on Sunday the 24th of September.

Hello and welcome to the start of the 2023-24 racing season!
Here at Scottish Rowing, we are very excited about the coming season, with lots of new people, ideas and initiatives in place it is shaping up to be a very exciting year indeed. Over the last year we have had several new team members join us, all bringing high energy and expertise to the table.
Over the course of this season, we would like to bring you quarterly newsletters with updates about all things rowing in Scotland. If you have any updates about upcoming events or anything that’s going on in your club, then send them through to office@scottish-rowing.org.uk to get featured in the next newsletter.

One of the barriers faced by many rowers is the price of Kit.
The initiative will be simple following the sportscotland Kit for All Campaign, which aims to provide sports kit to those who need it most, including people who live in deprived or low-income areas.
It can also help to raise awareness of the global environmental challenges by allowing people to reuse clothing, which in turn can reduce carbon footprint and encourage a recycling culture.
